A place to remember and be remembered.
Shortly after the City of Jerome was founded in 1907, a cemetery was established to service the local population.
The first recorded burial in the Jerome Cemetery was Nellie Pratt on November 1, 1908. Since that time the cemetery has grown to serve the town and countryside surrounding Jerome. It has many beautiful trees and shrubs and is entirely grass covered. In addition to standard and cremation lots, Jerome Cemetery has a mausoleum and offers a columbarium for above ground cremation interment and a memory wall.
Jerome Cemetery offers both standard and cremation lots, as well as a columbarium for above ground cremation interment, and a memory wall to honor those who have been buried elsewhere. The mausoleum is now fully committed, and more crypts will be added when additional interest in above ground interment has been expressed.
